Sponsoring overview
The European Light Microscopy Initiative was created in 2001 to establish a unique communication network between European scientists working in the field of light microscopy and the manufacturers of their equipment. The aim is to promote the quickly developing field of light microscopy as a fundamental research tool for the life sciences and to strengthen the channels of communication between researchers and industry. The annual ELMI meeting, which has been running for the last 16 years at various venues across Europe, has an excellent reputation within the microscopy community, making this meeting a key event in the calendar of hundreds of scientists and developers.
The strength of this meeting lies in the mixture of scientific lectures on state-of-the-art, high-end microscopy, which is combined with “hands-on” workshops and an exhibition of the latest technology, organised by the leading companies in the field.
At ELMI2023 we have 16 rooms available for companies to run their workshops in, all situated on the ground floor. Given the fact workshops can only take place in one of the workshop rooms, not in the exhibition booth, ELMI2023 committee decided to add the option slot for company presentation. This option can only be booked in combination with an exhibition booth (and will only be visible if you book an exhibition booth).
The exhibition will take place on the ground floor, next to the plenary room, in the area where all catering (coffee/tea/lunch + welcome reception on June 6) will be provided.
We do not provide exhibition including workshop possibilities.

With over 100 years expertise in the field, Nikon has always been at the forefront of optical and technological innovation. Now, as a key component of the Nikon Corporation Healthcare Business Division, the Nikon Microscope Solutions unit is focused on developing cutting edge imaging technologies for the academic research lab and the biotech and pharma industry, as well as providing the clinical and educational communities with leading imaging solutions. Nikon continues to grow and expand with the recent launches of the LIPSI high content imaging platform, A1 HD25 confocal microscope and N-SIM S Super Resolution microscope. Nikon's LIPSI provides full incubation from sample storage to image acquisition. This flexible open platform can easily evolve to meet changing research needs. The A1 HD25 captures images with a 25 mm field of view, nearly twice the area of conventional point scanners, and extending the detectable area of cellular responses and increasing image capture speed. The N-SIM S Super Resolution Microscope is a unique high-speed structured illumination system that achieves acquisition speeds of up to 15 fps, enabling fast biological processes to be captured at twice the spatial resolution of conventional light microscopes.
